Initial
Orders:
Initial minimum buy-in is $2,000 (or to be determined by UPI). All
initial orders must be prepaid in advance by Cashier's Check or
VISA/MC.
New
Customer Inquiries:
All
new/potential customers must complete UPI "New Customer Info/Credit
Form" and follow the Dealer Qualification Instructions.
Credit
Terms:
Upon
completion of the credit application, approved accounts will be
NET 30 DAYS (from invoice date). A service charge of 1.5% per month
will be imposed on invoices not paid within the 30 day term. Account
denied credit will be payment in advance or COD (with Cashier's
Check or VISA/MC.)
Past-due invoices will delay orders. Please check with UPI on your
account status when ordering.
NSF
Charges:
A $30
fee will be assessed on each incidence of bounced check.
Minimum
Orders (After Initial P.O.):
Minimum
order is $50.00. A $5.00 handling charge will be automatically added
to the invoice on all orders less than minimum order requirement.
Shipping:
UPI
reserves the exclusive right to determine the form and method of
shipping. We do not ship via U.S. Postal.
Drop
Shipments:
There
will be a $5.00 handling service charge on all drop shipment orders.
Drop shipment service charge will be added automatically to the
invoice without notice. All drop shipment orders must be faxed in.
There will be no freight allowance/prepaid for any drop shipments.
Freight
Policy:
Orders
between $50.00 and $999.00 will be shipped F.O.B. Carson, California.
Orders of $1,000 (based on UPI current pricing) or more will be
shipped Freight Prepaid Ground to continental United States customers
only. Express Air orders, Special Net Pricing orders, and Special
Quote Pricing orders excluded. Freight carrier will be selected
at UPI's sole discretion. Customers may request their own choice
of carrier at their own expense, negotiated rates & insurance.
If customers elect to choose their own carrier, order will be shipped
Freight Collect.
Orders:
UPI
strongly recommends faxing & confirming all orders (especially
Express Air Shipments), add-ons, cancellations, changes, etc. UPI
will not be held liable for any discrepancies from verbal orders.
Returns resulting from verbal discrepancies will also incur a 20%
restock charge.
Express
Orders:
ALL
Next Day, 2nd Day, 3rd Day & Will-Call orders may or may not
be processed on the ordering date. Customers must confirm with UPI
representatives on projected shipping date or will-call time.
Packaging:
A 10%
service charge will be added to orders with special packaging or
UPC bar-coding requirements.
Inner
Box/ Master CTN OTYs:
In our
new Price List, items with "*" denotes "Sold in Inner
Box Quantity Only". Items with "**" denotes "Sold
in Master Carton Quantity Only". Purchase Order quantities
will be changed without notice.
COD
Fees:
A $7.50
fee will be accessed per COD box for all FedEx/UPS COD shipments.
Truck COD shipment fees are to be determined later by trucking company.
Backorders:
UPI
reserves the right to cancel backorders that are 6 month or older
from the initial invoice date.
